노스 캐롤라이나 윌밍턴 여행(Wilmington journey)

와이프랑 주말 여행으로 계획한 곳이 윌밍턴~!!
(This weekend trip I panned with my wife is Wilmington)

점점 추워지는 날씨에 따라 남쪽으로 내려가는것으로 결정하고 정했다.
(as the weather is getting cold . I decided to go to the south)

너무 큰 도시가 아닌 소소한 도시. 위치도 버지니아에서 가기 나쁘지않은 것 같다.
(It is not a big city but small city. I think the location is not bad to go from Virgina)

다만 아쉬운 것이 날씨였다. 왜 그렇게 가는 날마다 비가오는지.. 내려가는 내내 비가왔다.
(The bad thing was weather. why the weather is always bad when we go to a trip. It was raining on the way)

무려 세시간이나 걸려서 도착했다. 딱 한번 쉬고왔는데 한국이라면 더 걸렸겠지? 240마일.. 약 400키로 😱😱😱😱
(It took 3 hours. we had one time to rest. does it take more in Korea. It is about 240miles almost 400km...)

처음 만난 곳이 city market. 진짜 조그만 로컬 상점이다. 리버워크를 따라 걸으면 볼 수있다. 내부는 진짜 아기자기하게 귀엽다. 거기서 무슨 견과류를 시식하고 나왔다.
(The first sight we met is city market. It is really small local market. you can see following the riverwalk. but The inside was beautiful. we had aome peanut and went out that)


그 이유는 바로 우리가 가려고했던 코튼 익스체인지가 5시 30분에 닫는다길래 조금 서두를 필요가 있었다 😂😂 뭐가 아쉬움..
(the reason we had a few time in city market was the most important destination `cotton exchange'. it was close at 5:30pm

리버워크를 따라가는길. 날씨가 참 안타깝다 ㅠ.ㅠ
(The way to follow riverwalk. I hoped the weather is good)

리버워크를 따라가면 윌밍턴에서 가장 유명한 배틀 쉽이보인다. 요 배는 실제로 미국에서 2차 세계대전때 참여했던 배고 15개 전장을 치뤘다고한다. 그 후에 여기와서 박물관으로 쓰인다.
(you can see a famous battleship in Wilmington. The battleship was participated in WW2 and 15 battle. after that she became a museum)
아쉽게도 우리 여행에서는 멀리서만 구경할 뿐..😭😭
(unfortunately we saw the ship form a far)

이곳이 코튼 익스체인지!! 예전에 솜 교역하는 곳이라고 한다. 참 사진으로 담을 수없지만 진짜 추천!! 완전 멋있었다.
(This is cotton exchange! this was for exchange cotton. I can not put the feeling in the pictures, It was cool)
 외국인이 우리나라 인사동 쌈지길 보면 똑같은 감정을 느끼지 않을까??
(I think it is the same feeling when foreigns see ssamzigil at Insadong in Korea)
와이프도 참 만족했다. 내부는 정말 이국적인  분위기를 물씬 풍기는 곳이였다.
(My wife aslo liked it. The inside was really place to get an exotic atmosphere)

저녁은 윌밍턴에서 유명한 식당인 더 조지!! 나중에 호텔 관리인이랑 이야기하다가 여기 음식점 추천에 주시던데 우리가 가봤다고하니 잘갔다고 했다!!😁😁
(We had a dinner at the george which is the most famous in Wilmington. Later we talked with a manager of hotel. he recommended the restaurant. we said we had been there. he said good.)

식전빵은 진짜별로!! 하지만 음식은 완전 맛있었다. 양까지 푸짐하면 좀 더 좋았겠지만 맛과 분위기는 정말 좋았다
(Pre-dinner bread was not good. but main dishes was really good. It would have been a little better if it was rich enough, but the taste and atmosphere were really good)

와이프랑 이렇게 이야기하고 맛있는 음식도 먹고 기분 좋다~~^^ 사랑해♡
(I was happy to get delicious food and talk with my wife a lot. l love you♡)

블로그에서 보니 유명한 초콜릿 가게가 있던데 거기 들러봤다. 근처에 가면 달콤한 냄새가 나니 금방 찾을 수 있었다.
(I stopped by a chocolate store which is famous in blog. you can feel swery smell near the store)

 아이스크림 사서 나눠먹었는데 라즈베리는 별로였지만 초콜릿 피넛버터는 굿~!!
(We had a icecream. raspberry taste was soso but peanut batter chocolate was good!)

나중에 보니 완전 사람들이 줄 서 있어서 신기했다. 우리가 딱 좋은 타이밍에 간것 같다. 한번쯤 맛보는 것도 나쁘지 않다~^^
(It was interesting when I saw a long line people was waiting. I think we were good timing. It was not too bad to taste at once)

다시 리버워크 걷다가 찍은 사진들.. ㅎㅎ

여기는 월밍턴 라이트빌 비치 월밍턴이랑 한 10분정도 걸렸던것 같다. 그만큼 가깝다는 이야기.
(this is Wilmington wrightsville beach. It took 10minutes from Wilmington)

여기는 다운타운이랑 다르게 더 고급진 느낌이였다. 우리는 여름이 아니라 약간 쓸쓸한 느낌이였다. 오랜만에 와이프랑 같이 바다보니까 너무 좋았다. 약간은 좀 춥지만 거기 앉아서 꽤 오랫동안 서로 이야기하면서 시간을 보냈다.
(This was different feeling than downtown. I felt cold amd chilli beacues it was not summer. but I was happy to see beach with my wife a long time. we sat down a beach and had a long time to talk)

윌밍턴은 유명하지는 않지만 그냥 소소하게 즐길만한 도시인것 같다.
(Wilmington is not famous, but it seems to be just a small town to enjoy.)

 적절하게 1박 여행으로 선택해서 참 좋았다. 만족~^^
(I was satisfied to decide on day journey. good!!)
